Mina-san, konban wa. Chapter 8 no hamtaro, Allison desu. (Good evening everyone. This is Chapter 8′s hamtaro, Allison.)
I’m very happy to see this spectacular team bonding together even after the trip, from saying Ohayo gozaimasu or Konichiwa whenever we meet, to sitting together during recess and shouting Itadaki masu like what the Japanese students did, really goes to show how much we have changed, matured, and bonded. The feelings, tears, and friends from this trip have definitely been priceless.
Looking back, many of us have started to realise that we have matured one way or another, whether through hardships during the trip or bonding with our fellow group members and friends. This trip has certainly taught us many lessons, values and experiences which cannot be easily attained in a normal classroom environment. All these would not have been possible without the combined sweat, all-nighters, worries, planning, support, encouragement and love from Mr Mohammad, Ms Chua, Ms Melissa, Ms Tok, Mr and Ms Cheong, Ms Yang, Mr David Lau, Ms Tan, parents and all the other teachers who have contributed and supported this team immensely. We are also very thankful for all the encouragement we received during our intensive training week. Every single word of encouragement has helped us enormously during that stressful period of time - the very last week before our Big Day. This has been one of our most memorable event ever and whatever that we have received from this trip, we will definitely give back to our school, family, and friends. We’ll never forget the past, and we’re looking forward to the future. 16 years later, is when we will re-live the past. It’s a promise.
I’ll post more pictures in my next post! Oyasumi nasai~~
