Heyhey. Carel here.

Well oh well, the blog seems dead. How’s life, Hirouka-san? Its been a month since we returned from Hiroshima. & hope everyone is coping well with studies and life. No matter what, we’re still one big family.

Btw, happy belated 15th birthday to Berwin. OUR BUDDHA! :D

Hirouka-san Day Out

Heyheyha! Carel here. Hello people out there. Ok, the blog is really dead. Everyone has been real busy nowadays i think but we are still that united as ever.

The above picture was our Hirouka-san first day out to Sentosa on 6th July. It was a lovely day and all of us had fun. It was a pity that some couldn’t make it. Let’s look forward to the next day out alright!

Keep smiling. And much loved ;D

A Glance Back

Mina-san, konban wa. Chapter 8 no hamtaro, Allison desu. (Good evening everyone. This is Chapter 8′s hamtaro, Allison.)

I’m very happy to see this spectacular team bonding together even after the trip, from saying Ohayo gozaimasu or Konichiwa whenever we meet, to sitting together during recess and shouting Itadaki masu like what the Japanese students did, really goes to show how much we have changed, matured, and bonded. The feelings, tears, and friends from this trip have definitely been priceless.

Looking back, many of us have started to realise that we have matured one way or another, whether through hardships during the trip or bonding with our fellow group members and friends. This trip has certainly taught us many lessons, values and experiences which cannot be easily attained in a normal classroom environment. All these would not have been possible without the combined sweat, all-nighters, worries, planning, support, encouragement and love from Mr Mohammad, Ms Chua, Ms Melissa, Ms Tok, Mr and Ms Cheong, Ms Yang, Mr David Lau, Ms Tan, parents and all the other teachers who have contributed and supported this team immensely. We are also very thankful for all the encouragement we received during our intensive training week. Every single word of encouragement has helped us enormously during that stressful period of time - the very last week before our Big Day. This has been one of our most memorable event ever and whatever that we have received from this trip, we will definitely give back to our school, family, and friends. We’ll never forget the past, and we’re looking forward to the future. 16 years later, is when we will re-live the past. It’s a promise.

I’ll post more pictures in my next post! Oyasumi nasai~~

Hey! Carel here. It’s the 2nd day of school and everyone is happy to be back in school! :D DD

I’m very happy that the 26 of us did not forget one another and many of us were hugging one another. We also planned to say Itadakimas before we eat during recess when we sit down together. I’m indeed happy to see everyone.

One more thing to add, why don’t I see the teachers blogging? Come on my dear teachers, join in the blogging, please! :D DD

BACK TO SCHOOL!

Hi Hirouka people, Luanne here! Today is the start of Term 3 and I know that a lot of us are still in holiday mood now and are not prepared for the new term. Indeed, the trip to Japan has left many great memories and I’m sure all of us will not forget those memories. After the trip, we all agreed that we will all have recess together one day and say ‘ITADAKIMASU’ before we eat. Today, during recess, some of us actually did that! Not everyone joined us, but I hope that the next time round, all of us could do it together as it would be much more meaningful!

REMINDER: This Thursday, there will be a compulsory meeting for all of us at 3pm, ITR 2. Please remember to bring your blazers along as well. Looking forward to seeing you guys! Rest well! OYASUMINASAI!

A FRESH START

Mina-san, KONICHIWA! Hello, it’s ALLISON here, Group 2′s lovely hamtaro! I’m blogging on behalf of the KAWAII Chapter 8. Time flies really fast, especially when you’re having fun. School has started once again, barely a week after our return from Fukouka. Now, before any of our readers fall asleep, here are some fun pictures!

Hehe sorry Navin, but it’s the only nice group picture I could find in my computer^^ Who told you to close your eyes when the shutter was being clicked..??

Ooh! One thing about the vending machines - In Japan, vending machines are VERY common. During my stay in Japan, vending machines can be found EVERYWHERE, outside toilets, beside random shops, in alleys, hotels, and even on highways!

The pretty, bright shops

One week already

Hello. I am Zhen hong. It has been one week since out trip to Japan ended. And school is starting tomorrow. The usual school life is going to start soon and I hope everyone is ready for it. Of course, I miss the times and memories we have had together in Japan. I guess I am not the only one. Everyone is missing those days. I hope that each and every one of us will still remain in touch, be it during school hours or outside school. So, everyone, it is now the time to work hard and achieve good result and after a few years, let’s all go to Japan again together,  as tourists again, to experience more of Japan and have the best memories. So, work hard and we can do it. Sayoonara

Hey Hirouka people! A week has passed and school’s starting tomorrow. I bet you guys have recovered from the Japan sickness. Like everyone of you, I missed Japan just as much but Singapore is still our homeland.

As school reopens, everyone will be busy with their own activities. The secondary fours and fives will be busy with their preparations for their major papers. All the best! Let’s not forget one another and the teachers because the one week in Japan is just so memorable!

All the best in your studies and life! :D DD

And you people are much loved

1 week

Gosh. It has been one week since our return from Japan. I’m sure all of you would have rested and recovered well although I was sure all of you felt sick about leaving Japan. Haha. Don’t worry I felt that too. With only 1 more day to school, I am sure you all are doing last minute homework. I can’t wait to meet all of you in school on Monday. Promise to stay in touch even if we leave school. Remember to always go on outings and bond with your group, beacuse this is a very special bond. I shall stop here. Oyasuminasai!
